Interest in natural health remedies and integrative medical services is growing, and it is important for NPs to evolve their practice in tandem with these cultural shifts. Market research shows an uptick in the number of patients seeking professional supplement and vitamin support, providing NPs with exciting opportunities to expand their skill set and broaden the scope of their business. However, the rapidly expanding vitamin and supplement industry is rife with misinformation, meaning NPs have an obligation to get educated on safe and effective care protocols.
This course is designed to help nurse practitioners become a trusted resource for vitamin and nutritional therapies. Get recommendations on a variety of evidence-based supplements and vitamins, explore core concepts related to nutritional medicine, and learn tips for improving your clinic’s bottom line. Experts will break down the connection between nutrition and metabolic health and explain how specific supplements can address a variety of health concerns.
Plus, you will earn eight total CEU hours with four pharmacology hours, helping providers stay up to date with licensing and certification. Over six hours of video content features expert advice from Elite NP founder Justin Allan and Jenni Gallagher, APRN, plus built-in audio recordings for on-the-go learning.
